Having this day paid to Her Majesty's Colonial Treasury the rents of Crown lands for the half year ending the 24th June due by us, and M. Angus Fletcher, we have now the honor to request that the Inland Lot registered as 1987 be resumed by Her Majesty's Government from the 24th ultimo, with the exception of that portion of it known as Helen's Bank, for which an application has been made to Her Majesty's Surveyor General for a separate lease by the tenants of the late Mr. William Stewart.
